About Us

Built by clinicians.
Powered by communities.

Pelex Medics began as a weekend cleanup mission and grew into a continent-spanning health-tech movement. Today our doctors, sanitation engineers, and youth volunteers operate as one ecosystem.

Our story

From a single street to a continental movement

Founded in 2019 by a coalition of medical residents and environmental scientists, Pelex Medics emerged from a simple observation: most preventable illness traces back to sanitation, water quality, and the silent stigma around mental health. What started as volunteer Saturdays has become a 1,200-person network operating across nine regions.

Our model is simple — show up, listen, then act. We pair physicians with community health workers, deploy mobile clinics into neighbourhoods, and run cleanup brigades that double as wellness checkpoints.
